AAL USECARE

Objectives

• reducing time and efforts and increasing the quality of certain HHC functions by tele-monitoring i.e. registering essential bio-markers, such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, fasting glucose, weight, airway condition, as well as reminding functions (therapy adherence) without physical presence.

• Increasing productivity and quality of informal home care for elderly chronically ill patients by further developing the functional prototype for Self-Management of chronic risks and diseases.

• building a pilot network for testing and demonstrating such applications in culturally different use cases for all currently focused indications (cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory as well as respective comorbidities) in a multi-centred observational study,

• sensitizing stakeholders and the public by disseminating respective use cases in different high-reach media to the public and concerned stakeholders.
